Gee is an incredibly talented and likeable cook with beautiful ‘girl next door’ looks and a natural ability to cook under pressure. She is confident doing food demonstrations in a live studio or in front of a theatrical audience whilst giving useful tips and advice to viewers.
She has a warm, accessible and fun personality and her food is achievable to the likes of us amateur chefs!
Her memories of learning her craft go back to her grandmother whose passion and love for cooking helped shape her career choice. Gee now lives for food.
Gee spent several years cooking for the Royal Family at Kensington Palace after training at Tante Marie. She then set up her own successful catering company called ‘Duck Duck Mousse’ doing dinner parties and weddings for up to 250 guests.
She is in great demand as a Home Economist for television shows such as Market Kitchen, Lorraine, There’s No Taste Like Home, Daily Cooks and Britain’s Best Dish and is the invaluable right hand woman for celebrity chefs like the Hairy Bikers, Gino D’Acampo, Simon Rimmer,Jun Tanaka, Paul Merrett, Gordon Ramsey, James Martin and many others.
Gee not only does the recipe development and prep for several books and magazine but she is a talented food stylist. She has gained a vast array of techniques and knowledge over the years and is now working on her first book in order to share her skills and recipes.
Gee is well travelled and uses her experiences working with some of the top chefs from around the world to influence her cooking. She likes to cook simple modern food ranging from classic French to Indian curries – her recipes are easy to follow and always elegant.
Not content with an already successful career Gee is aiming to launch her own home made brand of brownies into high end stores such as Harrods. Beautifully presented and mouth wateringly delicious these brownies are set to become legendary. The recipe remains locked tightly away in a safe!
Gee has mass appeal and a great reputation within the food industry. Now is her time to become a household name on television.
