Jan Croxson

Director of Talent, Jan Croxson, joined DML in 2009 and has a wealth of experience gained over 20 years working within the industry. Prior to working at DML she discovered and managed high profile stars such as Dermot O’Leary, Fearne Cotton and Davina McCall and now works with a broad range of talent across both lifestyle and food. Jan has a huge network of contacts and a great track record in spotting unknown talent and developing long and lucrative careers with them. Jan is always firm but fair when it comes to getting the best opportunities for her clients.

Louise Leftwich

Agent, Louise Leftwich, joined the company in 2012. Having studied Theatre at university, Louise went on to spend time in both casting and agenting before finding her calling at DML. Louise has a keen interest in nurturing fresh talent, particularly the growing online 'YouTuber' and Social Influencer generation.

We are looking for someone to support us in our small but busy talent management agency. This is a varied role providing great experience in the workings of a talent management agency.  You will be working closely with the agents in a friendly and fast paced environment. This would be a fantastic opportunity for someone who is interested in the entertainment industry and is willing to learn and grow with the company to become an invaluable and key member of our team. 

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate excellent communication, strong organisational and analytical skills, attention to detail, enthusiasm and a positive team ethic. The candidate is also likely to have (but this is not essential for the right candidate) some work experience in similar roles or relevant training.

They are also likely to have an interest in Television, Publishing and online Media.

Job role: Junior Talent Assistant/Office Manager

Job level: Entry Level/Graduate

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with Agent administration, meetings and liaising with talent.
  • Assist with updating client biographies and keeping website up to date and accurate.
  • General running of office administration.
  • Answer incoming calls and making calls to production companies, broadcasters etc.
  • Supporting the MD with admin duties and minor accounting support.
  • Some credit control and tracking invoices and contracts.

Experience & Skills

  • Good writing skills and confidence communicating on the phone and with talent.
  • Detail-focused and comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment.
  • Enthusiasm – keen to be part of the team and learn new skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills and dedication to completing projects in a timely manner.
  • Experience of using the Microsoft Office 365 and Google Sheets.
  • Confident working with data and spreadsheets or ability to learn quickly.

Desirable:

  • Experience using Docusign.
  • Experience using Xero or similar accounting software.

Salary: Competitive/Dependent on experience
